Frequently Asked Questions
Where are you located?
We come to you. Because we are mobile, we travel to your location. Whether it be your home, gym, job or another location. We want to make Physical Therapy convenient for you.
How many visits will I need?
At the initial evaluation, we will discuss our findings and how they may impact your progress in order to develop an estimated number of visits. Each visit is approx 60 mins long.
What happens during the first visit?
We discuss your medical history and your problems/complaints, how this impacts your daily activities, your goals and what it is that you would like to accomplish with physical therapy to return you back to your desired level of mobility. We will then complete an objective evaluation to assess your limitations and movement patterns that are contributing to your complaints.
What forms of payment do you take?
We do not want you to be confined by insurance companies placing limitations on how many visits are allotted for therapy services, so we opted to not be in network with any insurance companies. We accept cash, credit, HSA, FSA as forms of payment. We will, however, provide a superbill after each visit for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement for out of network benefits.
How does Cash-Based physical therapy work?
If you haven’t met your deductible or have a high co-pay, this is the place for you. If you have not met your deductible, you are essentially a cash paying customer anyways. When it comes down to dollar-per-minute, cash based therapy becomes cheaper due to less treatment sessions and lower cost because it is not inflated for hopes of partial reimbursement dictated by insurance companies.
What if I met my deductible or have a low co-pay?
If your deductible is met or have a low co-pay then you can still submit for reimbursement through your insurance. Getting reimbursed for an out-of-network provider typically merits a 40-80% reimbursement rate. For the best chances to get reimbursed, having a doctor’s order is not required but may help with the reimbursement process.
What is the No Surprise Act?
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under this law, health care providers are required to give patients that do not use insurance an estimate of their bill for medical items and services.
